That’ll Be The Day heads to Darlington Hippodrome this February for two days, on it’s 38th year of touring the legendary show.
After major success on their 2023 shows founder and performer Trevor Payne continues to wow audiences across the country with his fan-favourite show that celebrates pop culture from the ‘50s through the ‘80s.
Trevor Payne said: “I am thrilled to announce that our 2023 Christmas show was a tremendous success, enjoyed by record numbers all over the UK.
"Our upcoming Spring show, which is one of the best we have produced, will hit the road in late January touring until late July. Don't miss it, you'll love it!”
This beloved show has continued to tour for nearly four decades, as it delights and thrills audiences with its blast from-the-past performances.
That’ll Be The Day also boasts that they have performed to over five million people nationwide and have played over 200 performances yearly - and they are heading to Darlington.
This widely celebrated musical has an amazing line-up of some of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll classics of all time, all performed by an extraordinary ensemble of first-class vocalists.
That’ll Be The Day isn’t just a concert or a musical – it also features a laugh-out-loud selection of hilarious comedic sketches. This five-star night out is certainly not one to miss.

The spring tour of this renowned production runs from January to July and will have the same unique and time-tested formula that contributes to its promise of a delightful and nostalgic evening, with old favourites as well as exciting new additions, making it a show for both old and new fans alike.
Audiences are encouraged to sing along as the musical takes you through the eras of rock n’ roll music.
That’ll Be The Day’s Spring edition will tour for six months, with a stellar line up of multi-talented performers bringing rock ‘n’ roll cheer to over sixty cities nationwide.
That’ll Be The Day is also celebrating raising over £1 million for Childline, Make A Wish, Help for Heroes, Roy Castle Lung, Cancer Foundation, and numerous appeals, including the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal, through their post-show bucket collections.
That’ll Be The Day is on at Darlington Hippodrome on Tuesday February 13 and Wednesday, February 14 2024.
