Police have confirmed a person has died following a medical incident at a Teesside pub last night.
A large emergency service response including three ambulances and two police cars convened outside the Southern Cross pub on Dixons Bank, Middlesbrough on January 31 just after 8.30pm.
The pub closed immediately, and it was reported that only staff remained inside the building whilst the emergency services attended the scene.
Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and there is no investigation ongoing.
Pictures taken just after 9pm showed an ambulance parked directly outside the entrance to the pub and multiple patrol cars.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident last night (31 January) shortly after 8.30pm in Marton, Middlesbrough.
"We dispatched three ambulance crews and one clinical team leader to the scene."
