A man has been charged with murder in Middlesbrough following an incident last week that saw a 52-year-old die.
Darren Saunders, 52, died on Essex Street, in Middlesbrough, on Monday, January 22.
Police were called to reports of an incident at about 9.10pm at an address on Essex Street, Middlesbrough, where Mr Saunders was found dead.

His family are being supported and our thoughts remain with them.
Now, a 24-year-old man from Middlesbrough has been charged with the murder of Mr Saunders.
He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Thursday, February 1.
