A pedestrian was hospitalised after being hit by a car in Darlington this weekend.
The incident took place at 5.35pm on Saturday (January 27).
The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment.
Thankfully, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 5.35pm on Saturday (January 27) to a collision in which a car had struck a pedestrian on High Northgate, in Darlington.
"The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
