Public land in Willington is being torn apart by "deliberate and unnecessary" parking - and now Durham County Council has vowed to crack down on the vehicle causing the damage.
A large vehicle is "regularly" parked on the grass verge between houses in a residential area of Willington, County Durham.

Durham County Council Neighbourhood Wardens South said: "SW13 is working with police and DCC Clean and Green to stop this deliberate and unnecessary damage being caused to public land in Willington.
"The vehicle is being used regularly and the owners continue to park on the grass regardless of the obvious damage it causes.
