A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash with a motorbike on a North East road this afternoon.
North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) confirmed they received reports of a crash on Somerset Road in Norton, Stockton at 2:32pm.
They confirmed they deployed two ambulance crews, one specialist paramedic, and one duty officer.
They also confirmed one person was taken to James Cook University Hospital by road for further treatment.
The incident, which saw a large emergency service response on the street, was also attended by Cleveland Police and Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
A NEAS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 2.32pm this afternoon to reports of a road traffic incident on Somerset Road in Norton, Stockton.
“We dispatched two ambulance crews, one specialist paramedic, and one duty officer, and requested the support of our colleagues at the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) who attended by air.

“One patient was transported to The James Cook University Hospital by road for further treatment."
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a collision involving a cyclist and a motorbike around 2:35pm today, Thursday 25th January on Somerset Road in Norton.
"A male cyclist has been taken to James Cook University Hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
Pictures from the scene showed an air ambulance set down nearby and a police cordon erected in the area.
