Police have seized more than 100 cannabis plants in a raid on a property in County Durham village.
Durham Police descended on a house in Croft Gardens, in Ferryhill, yesterday (Wednesday, January 24) following reports of drug activity.
A police spokesperson said: "Once inside the address, neighbourhood officers located more than 100 cannabis plants which were dismantled and seized.
"They also arrested an 18-year-old man, who was found inside the property on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

"He has since been charged and will appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court."
