Northern Powergrid has noted the postcodes that have lost power through strong winds caused by Storm Jocelyn. 

Northern Powergrid has confirmed that hundreds of homes across parts of the region are expected to be affected by the switch-off on Wednesday.

A yellow warning runs until 1pm on Wednesday, with the wind set to calm throughout the day.

Parts of North Yorkshire have been affected by flooding with river flooding probable in parts of the north of England on Wednesday, the Environment Agency said.
