A body was found in a campervan by police in Darlington on Sunday (January 21).
Officers were called to Headingley Crescent in the town shortly before midday where they found the campervan with a man’s body inside.
The van was taken away a short time later and investigations were carried out.
Detectives are not treating the man’s death as suspicious.
Durham Police said in a statement: “Police were called shortly after 11.45am yesterday (January 21) following reports that the body of a man had been found in a campervan on Headingley Crescent, Darlington.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
