A PLANE full of holidaymakers was forced to turn around mid-flight and return to Leeds Bradford Airport yesterday.
Jet2 operates flights from the Yeadon-based airport to Tenerife every morning at 8am.
However, Flight Radar data shows the LS223 journey on Friday, January 19 was forced to head back after it passed over France.
The flight tracker shows the plane was in the air for approximately 27 minutes on its first attempt to fly.
Those on the flight did eventually make it to the Spanish island following a delay.
The Telegraph & Argus has asked Leeds Bradford Airport and Jet2 for the reason behind the event.
