Robson Green's keenly anticipated Weekend Escape in Weardale was aired last night.
The television personality met up with Lee Ingleby at Durham train station, before heading out for a morning gym session in Hamsterley Forest.
The outdoor workout was organised by Lee, who used to be a gas salesman.
He holds workouts throughout the year in the forest using natural weights like logs and stones.
Both Rob and Lee enjoyed the workout, loving the clean air and having a laugh throughout.
The session ended with fun on space hoppers.
After their exercise they were off again to drive a Rolls Royce-powered train at the Weardale railway.
Rob and Lee were given a taster session, they made it clear members of the public will be given two hours if they go for the experience.
They described how refreshing it was being in the presence of people with such passion for keeping railway heritage alive.
Rob said: "Passenger trains are now operating here again.
"The team are doing driving experience days.
"It's a pleasure meeting the people keeping railway heritage alive."
Rob and Lee then headed to Woodcroft Farm to stay the night.
It has been in the same family since the 1940s and is still a working farm.
They enjoyed playing with puppies the next morning before heading out to the disused Greenfoot quarry.
They were quickly tasked with building rafts by Kevin and Dylan from the Weardale Adventure Centre.
