A Darlington man has been fined heavily in court after going over nearly 20mph over the speed limit.
Sean Henderson, 54, of Lingfield Green in Darlington had his case heard at West Yorkshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 2.
He was caught speeding on a motorway in Leeds where a temporary maximum speed restriction of 50mph was in place.

He was caught going 67mph, 17mph over the speed limit at the time.
Henderson was fined £440 for the offence and was also given four points on his licence.
The defendant was also made to pay £176 to victim services and £90 in court costs.
