People have reacted angrily after a group of boys attacked ducks in a County Durham park - with police investigating the worrying incident.
Officers from Durham Police are looking into reports that a group of three to five boys were in Willow Park in Wolsingham on January 3 this year, when they started attacking ducks.
The police force is looking for further information regarding the incident, which is said to have happened on the evening of January 3.

In a statement, Durham Police said: "Officers are appealing for further information regarding an incident in Wolsingham, near the Willows Park on 3rd January 2024.
"Officers have received numerous reports of an incident whereby approximately 3-5 male youths were seen to be attacking Ducks in the park in Wolsingham on the evening of January 3, 2024."
