The next live event in BUSINESSiQ’s Level Up campaign is to be held against a backdrop of  one of the country’s greatest sporting stages.

On Thursday January 25th, our panel of business experts will be at the Seat Unique stadium, home of Durham County Cricket Club, for networking from 9.30.

Then we will be in the Castle View Suite overlooking the famous pitch with an invited audience to talk about the best ways of growing and attracting talent to the region.

Having the right skills in place will be vital if the firms that have been told the North East is the place for them to invest are to grow at the right pace. They need the talent, so we need to make sure we have it on show at all times.

We’ll pick a key team for the big day from our own panel of experts, including bp, believe housing, Darlington Building Society, Durham County Council, North East Chamber of Commerce, razorblue, Tees Valley Combined Authority, Teesside International Airport and Womble Bond Dickinson.

The day will be introduced by Durham County Council and will also feature a keynote speech from a VIP guest.

Seat Unique Riverside is the home of Durham Cricket and has hosted a number of world-class sporting and music events, including England’s successful Ashes series in 2013. The iconic complex, which sits under the gaze of Lumley Castle, includes a modern Media and Education Centre and plenty of conference facilities.
