Darlington's McDonalds on North Road is closing for a few weeks for an 'exciting' refurbishment.
The fast food giant will remain shut until February 14th when it will be re-opened at 11am.
Customers can always visit the twin store in Newton Aycliffe.
They will be providing regular updates on the progress of the project as work begins.
A spokesperson said: "Whessoe/North Road are now closed for an exciting refurbishment.

"Unfortunately this will take a little time and we will reopen on February 14th at 11am.
"Good news though, our twin store at Newton Aycliffe will still be open for you to visit.
"Keep an eye out for regular updates of how the store is coming along and we look forward to seeing you all in Newton Aycliffe and again on opening day."
