Professional drivers and novices gathered in the North East for a club's first motorsport event of the year.
The Plum Pudding Auto Test 2024 at the Hartlepool and District motor club was hailed a success by organisers.
Paul Swift, who recently got added to the Guinness world records for driving a four-wheeled vehicle on only two wheels through the smallest gap, was in attendance.
He wasn't the only well known face at the event yesterday (Saturday, January 6) - North Yorkshire's Paul and Charlie Mathewson, of the Bangers and Cash television series, enjoyed the day too.
A spokesperson for the Hartlepool and District motor club said tis was the 15th year of the annual event.
He said: "It’s just got bigger and bigger. As it comes to a close - weeks and weeks of planning, meetings, phone calls, chasing things, permits, land owners permission getting our brilliant sponsor to liaise and get branded umbrellas, cups and sweet Jars for everyone - it’s finally over.
"A massive thank you to all marshals, Nat, Peter, Alex, Dru, John, Bob, Chris and to my brilliant sidekick today, Helen Moxon-McEwan.
"I thank you all from the bottom of my heart you all make the Plum Pudding 2024 a success."
Paul Mathewson, of the Bangers and Cash television series, said: "We are here today to support Hartlepool and District Motor Club.
"We have been members for three years now. We don't do a lot of motor testing, Charlie does a fair bit of rallying.
"This is grass roots and it's car control. It's a starter for the youngsters and it's a fun day for us older ones really.
"If you look around you can see all ages, there's a lad of 16 and there are some other junior guys here.
"There are older people here that are in their 60s and 70s.
"A lot of this installs the bits and pieces that you need to be good at rallying."
