The body of a 17-year-old boy was found in Middlesbrough yesterday.
Shortly after 12 noon on Tuesday ( January 2). emergency services were called to a property on St Mary's Walk, in Acklam, Middlesbrough, following reports of "a sudden death."
Emergency services, including police, crime scene investigation and the ambulance service, descended on the street.
Tragically, the body of a 17-year-old boy was discovered inside the address by officers.
Now, Cleveland police have confirmed that the sudden death is not believed to be suspicious, with a file being prepared for the coroner.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Shortly after 12 noon yesterday (January 2), emergency services attended a report of a sudden death in a property in St Mary’s Walk in Middlesbrough.

"Very sadly the body of a 17-year-old boy was discovered inside the address.
There are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
"Our thoughts are with the boy’s family at this extremely difficult time."
