Houghton-le-Spring-based Pacifica has announced significant revenue growth in its latest financial results.

Through its collaboration with leading consumer brands, the company has achieved a 12 percent revenue surge during its 2022/23 financial year, further highlighting its prime position in the market. It is also on track for a strong 2023/24 financial year,

The company is a leading independent provider of domestic appliance repairs and warranties and recorded UK sales of £34.5m, marking an uplift of £3.7m (12%).

Other highlights were: 

  • Gross Margin: Showcased a significant leap from £6.9m to £10.2m, a growth of £3.3m (31%).
  • Gross Margin Percentage: Advanced from 22.4% to 29.5%, demonstrating an improvement of 7.1% (31%).
  • EBITDA: Climbed from £325k to £911k, a surge of £586k (180%).

Pacifica undertakes more than 350,000 domestic appliance repairs each year, completed by a team of around 250 engineers covering the whole of the UK. The company works closely with several high-profile brands such as Electrolux, Sony, Hisense, Vestel, Howdens (Lamona) and LG, along with major retailers including, Argos and Shop Direct, and insurance providers, to provide repair and maintenance services. 

Pacifica’s financial results have been underlined by a series of key milestones and developments in the past 12 months.

Alongside its organic growth, Pacifica has continued to enact its acquisition strategy to increase its UK footprint and ability to deliver local services, with three acquisitions completed in the period with further strategic integrations planned.

The company has also continued to invest in its people at every level of the business, delivering more than 11,000 hours of training across the organisation.

It has strengthened its senior management team with the appointments of Vikki Weston as Group HR Director, Leanne Murray as Customer Operations Director and Matthew Pallister as Commercial Director, while growing its total workforce to 460.
