A new restaurant and wine bar will open its doors in the new year after successfully previewing its range of food and drinks on offer.
Hansom restaurant and wine bar, which will open in Bedale, has been offering a sneak preview to some potential customers on its social media pages since the start of December.
But it looks like they've now got an official opening date in mind after noting February 8, 2024, as the day of choice on its website.
Promising a variety of creative dishes, paired with brilliant drinks, Hansom has said that it's a "modern British restaurant in the heart of Bedale by award-winning chef Ruth Hansom."
In Ruth's own words, which are posted on Hansom's website, the restaurant is: "a contemporary tasting menu experience, combining only the finest produce from the land, earth & sea into a purposefully-designed epicurean adventure of luxury & provenance."
While the restaurant has had several preview events, including one for New Year's Eve on Sunday (December 31) - it will officially be unveiled in February.
But from the social media reaction the restaurant has already got, it seems they won't be short of customers throughout 2024.
Hansom isn't the only restaurant to recently announce it was opening in North Yorkshire.

Salt Street Food Kitchen and Bar, which already has a venue on Grange Road in Darlington revealed that it has now opened its second venue in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Opening last Friday (December 22) in the town, just in time for Christmas, Salt has kept much of the detail under wraps for months, until it posted on its Instagram page last week to confirm the restaurant.
The Richmond venue is based at 3 Kings Street and looks to have very similar décor to its Darlington restaurant, while also having 5pm until 10pm Monday to Sunday opening times, just like the Darlington venue.
