Police are appealing for information after a firearm caused damage to a home yesterday (December 28).
A home on Raleigh Road in Stockton has been damaged after an incident involving a firearm on Thursday at around 9.30pm.
Police say the firearm was "discharged" but nobody is believed to have been injured.
Officers are now appealing for information about what they believe was a targeted incident as they assure residents that there is no wider risk to the community.
Cleveland Police said: "High visibility patrols will continue in the area while officers continue to investigate the incident.
"Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything about this incident to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference 253418."
