The annual Silent Santa Christmas appeal, based in Darlington, has thanked everyone who donated to this year's fundraiser.
Despite initial slow progress, donations surged, resulting in more than 552 gifts and numerous other toys being generously gifted.
Santa's helpers were unable to wrap all of the small toys but gifted them all with heartfelt holiday spirit.
More than 552 children in Darlington and the surrounding area received presents from their anonymous benefactors, who committed to spreading happiness on Christmas day without expecting anything in return.
Estimations reveal between 2,500 and 3,000 individual items, all stored in shoe boxes and bags, were handed out.
The identity of Silent Santa remains a closely guarded secret, but he and his helpers extended special thanks to Darlington Fire Officer Karl Blackburn for his support in delivering the toys.

Business park Lingfield Point was acknowledged for providing storage space, whilst Home Bargains generously supplied roll cage pallets to aid in handling the gifts.
The appeal organisers also thanked companies and individuals alike who bought and donated gifts.
Through their efforts, they said the 2023 Silent Santa Appeal has been even more successful than previous years.
