Police say they are increasingly concerned about a 13-year-old boy last seen at a hospital on Thursday (December 28).
The boy, called James, was seen at about 2.15pm on Thursday at the University Hospital of North Durham before being reported missing.
It is believed he may have taken a train from Durham to Newcastle, and could be in Byker area.
He is described as 5ft 7in tall, with short mousy brown hair. He was wearing a black Berghaus coat, grey Hugo Boss t-shirt, light blue-grey Berghaus bottoms and black and blue Nike trainers when he was last sighted.
Officers searching for James have now released a CCTV shot of him as they appeal to the public for help.
