Clubbers in Yarm thought they’d struck gold when 80s music legend Martin Kemp treated them to a DJ set.
The Spandau Ballet star took to the decks at The Keys on Yarm High Street performing a selection of classics.
Some wore fancy dress for the hour-and-a-half ‘Back to the 80s’ set on Wednesday (December 27) night.
Kemp is known for hits including Gold, True and Through the Barricades alongside Spandau bandmates including Tony Hadley and brother Gary.
It’s not the first time a famous face has turned up at the popular nightclub.
Earlier this month Take That’s Howard Donald played a set there. He will return to Teesside next summer with his band members for a big gig at the Riverside.
In February JLS star Marvin Humes will follow in their steps fresh from his stint in the I’m a Celeb jungle in Australia.
