One person has been taken to hospital following an incident at a County Durham marina.
North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) confirmed they were called to a medical incident at Seaham Marina at around 10:20am today (December 27).
They confirmed they deployed three ambulances, a rapid response paramedic, alongside support from the Great North Air Ambulance, and transported one person to Sunderland Royal Hospital.
A NEAS spokesperson said: “We were called just after 10.20 this morning to a medical incident at Seaham Marina.
“We dispatched three double-crewed ambulances, a rapid response paramedic, two vehicles from our Hazardous Area Response Team and requested support from the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).

“One patient was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital.”
Durham Police confirmed they attended the incident and were at the scene to assist other emergency services.
A GNAAS spokesperson said: "“Our crew were activated at 10:31 to an incident in Seaham. Our doctor and critical care paramedic flew to the scene, they arrived at 10:47 and worked with NEAS and the Coastguard to assess the patient.“"
