A man is in hospital after firefighters were forced to cut him out of his vehicle on Boxing Day (December 26).
Emergency services were called to the A19 at Cleveland Tontine at around 8.20pm, following reports of a single-vehicle crash on the stretch of road just beyond Northallerton.
Firefighters, police and ambulance crews all attended the scene, which was partly closed for around an hour.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed that they had to cut a man from the vehicle, while also saying that one person was taken to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Both Northallerton crews attended reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision with possible persons trapped.
"Upon attendance, one male casualty was trapped in the vehicle, crews were able to release him using crew power only and he was left in the care of ambulance personnel to be transported to hospital for treatment."
