Hundreds of bold dippers took to the sea yesterday (December 26) in Boxing Day dips up and down the region - are you in any of these pictures?

A warm and cosy Boxing Day spent indoors was not on the cards for these daring souls who braved the cold and sub zero temperatures of the sea for good causes and thrill.

Pictures of the day show people dressed up in their best fancy costumes and Santa hats as they ran feet first, fearless into the ocean in the morning.
