A motorcyclist suffered 'life-changing' injuries after a crash on the A690 near Durham on Tuesday (December 19) night.
Police are now appealing for information following the serious collision in West Rainton.
The two-vehicle collision happened on the A690 at around 5pm and involved a Ford Focus and a BMW motorbike.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "The motorcyclist sustained life-changing injuries and was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital in Newcastle where he remains.
"Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident."
