A Stockton Aldi worker is celebrating a major milestone of 20 years working for the business.

Kelly Algar first joined the supermarket at Aldi’s Teesside Park store in 2003.

Since then she has worked in several roles and she now works as a Store Assistant at Aldi’s Yarm store.

From taking part in charity events for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, to supporting fellow colleagues, Kelly is an integral part of Aldi’s Yarm team.

Kelly has seen Aldi grow and invest in the community over the years and become the UK’s fourth largest supermarket last year.

Commenting on her career at Aldi, Kelly said: "Throughout my time at Aldi, I have been involved in so many fundraisers – from charity walks to in-store cycling events. Even as the supermarket has grown, it has been great to be able to give back – and I am looking forward to being even more involved in the future.

When asked what the one Aldi product she couldn’t live without was, Kelly said: “I just love an Aldi candle – especially at this time of year!”
