Santa Claus has been busy in the North East, taking to his bus for a string of appearances in towns across Stockton.
Residents in Kirklevington, Yarm, Redmarshall and Wynyard were among the first in Stockton borough to be treated to a visit from Stockton Borough Council's Santa on Wheels on Thursday (December 14).
Billingham, Port Clarence, Cowpen Bewley and Norton were among communities on the route yesterday (Friday) - with more appearances planned across this weekend.
Pictures show families with children grinning with glee as they wave to the man in the red hat, sat atop the open top bus waving down to those who came out in the cold to say hello.
The vintage-style cream bus sparkled as it drove by as lights dangled down each side and holly decorated the seats.
