It was a bumper 2023 for The Northern Echo's Camera Club which has once again proved the region has talented photographers who capture the very best of the North East.
From Redcar to Darlington, Hartlepool to Durham and Sunderland to Northumberland, the Echo has seen submissions from across the North East.
We've seen some stunning photos of wildlife and scenery; from pooches in the snow to majestic birds soaring through the air in hundreds of submissions which make it into print each week.

The Northern Echo's photographer Sarah Caldecott said: "2023 has been an absolutely brilliant year for photography - we've had some great events and moments that have been captured.
