The price of a popular Darlington restaurant has been cut to just £40,000 in an attempt to sell it.
The highly-rated Reema restaurant on the town's Coniscliffe Road initially went up for sale at the start of November for a price of £60,000, but it seems like its current owners want a quick sale after reducing it to £40,000 already.
Since opening in 1999, the venue has built its name as one of the most notable restaurants in the area, but after it was announced it would be sold, it now gives a new chance for other owners to build on the success.
Still on Rightmove with Hilton Smythe in Bolton, the restaurant is a steal at £40,000 - and offers potential for whoever chooses to take over the business.
It's understood that the current owners want a speedy sale, due to relocating countries.
Currently, the restaurant has a Google rating review of 4.4/5 and a TripAdvisor score of four stars out of five, with thousands of diners visiting the venue over the years.
On the sale listing, it reads: "Reema has now come to the open market due to our clients recent relocation out of the country.
"Reema is a well-established Indian restaurant that has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
"The restaurant offers eat-in or takeaway options. Customers can also request a delivery option by ordering over the phone or through their website."

The restaurant spans over two floors and has seating for 50 people, while it employs nine people at the venue.
According to the listing, new owners could list the business with Just Eats and Uber Eats if they wish, while it noted that there is 'scope for further growth' and potential to build on trading hours, which are currently Monday to Thursday - 5pm - 10pm, Friday to Saturday - 5pm - 11pm, and closed on Sunday.
The business is being sold on a Leasehold basis, with the current rent at £12,000 per year.
The listing notes these as the strongest features:
- Leasehold
- Well Established
- Town Centre Location
- Fully Furnished Restaurant
- Scope For Further Growth
- Fantastic Online Ratings & Reviews
- Prime Trading Position
