This is England actor Thomas Turgoose is heading to the region to DJ alongside a leading 90s Britpop cover band.
The Christmas special on Tyneside features a set from the star of the Shane Meadows film and TV series as well as much-loved classics from The National Anthems.
Turgoose promises to play a host of indie anthems and Christmas classics at The Grove, a new music venue in Byker, Newcastle, tomorrow evening (Friday, December 15)
He said: “Newcastle music fans are the best and I know they won't let us down for this amazing Christmas party.
“It's going to be an incredible night, and we're going to take the roof off.
“I can’t wait to come up and see you all.
“And I’m expecting some sore heads on Saturday morning.”
Fresh from their headlining UK tour, The National Anthems are set to deliver a performance filled with the iconic sounds of Oasis, Blur, Happy Mondays, The Verve and The Stone Roses.
