Five pubs in the North East and North Yorkshire have been named within the top 50 venues in the UK.
Within the 2024 Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list, the names feature high up, with judges impressed by all five of the locations' food, beer, atmosphere and personality.
The list is created by collecting votes from more than 200 professionals who are key people in the industry, from food critics and writers to chefs and pub operators.
The voters are spread evenly across the UK to avoid any regional bias and to help us discover even more fantastic hidden gems.
The annual list reveal is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the talent within the industry alongside a handful of awards announced on the night.
In the run-up to the event, there is also a 51-100 reveal on our Instagram (@top50gastropubs) from Monday 8 January 2024.
The full list will be announced at a ceremony at the current number one The Parkers Arms nestled in the Forest of Bowland on Monday, January 22, 2024, and revealed on Instagram throughout the day.
