There is misery for Newcastle fans trying to make it home after their side was beaten 4-1 by Tottenham this afternoon.
Train chaos which left fans, and commuters, struggling to make the journey south has led to all trains north being cancelled tonight.
Kings Cross is reportedly rammed with passengers.
Among them is Echo Chief Sports Reporter Scott Wilson, who is trying to make his way back to the North East after reporting on the match.
He said: "There are thousands in the station.
"The 10pm train is now officially cancelled so there are no trains at all going north from London tonight."
LNER confirmed all trains out of Kings Cross this evening have been cancelled.

The disruption stemmed from severe damage to overhead lines between Peterborough and Grantham - on the East Coast Mainline on Saturday (December 9). LNER advised customers not to travel on Sunday (December 10).
Ticket acceptance in place on Avanti trains up the west coast earlier in the day has also been stopped.
A spokesperson said: "Customers are advised to check before travelling and allow extra time to complete their journey."
