A new single storey, flat roof extension will be provided to the rear of the building and the proposed convenience store will occupy the entirety of the ground floor of the property resulting in the loss of the existing residential unit.

There are a number of relatively minor alterations proposed to the principal elevation of the property facing Gilling Road, including the demolition of the existing entrance porch serving the residential accommodation and the installation of a replacement glazed shopfront.
