Residents and children gathered in Stockton town centre to take part in another of the town's Christmas events.
Adults and children alike could be seen enjoying the Festive Tipi - following on from the Stockton Sparkles event.
The Tipi was very popular last year and has returned as an ideal place to enjoy your food and drink or to get warmed up.
Adding to this, there was also a programme of free activities inside the Tipi for families to enjoy throughout the weekend.
Mini candle pot workshops with New Leaf were held at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and saw many enthusiastic participants
The Stockton Sparkles event will be rounded off with the Lantern Parade which returns at 4pm on Sunday (December 3) with 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' serving as the theme.
A Stockton Borough Council spokesperson said: "Join Santa as the vibrant parade makes its way down Stockton High Street, with participants from schools across the Borough and other community groups."
Councillor Steve Nelson said: "It's always so exciting when Stockton Sparkles arrives - and once again there will be something for the whole family to enjoy in the run-up to Christmas.
