Rehearsals are well underway at Darlington’s Hippodrome as performers prepare to bring their pantomime spectacular.
The performance will feature Gareth Gates who heads the cast of the theatre’s rendition of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
He will be joined by The Chase’s Jenny Ryan starring as The Wicked Queen, Josh Benson, Marina Lawrence-Marrha as Snow White, and Jamie Jones.
The show will be produced by Crossroads Pantomimes – the same team behind last year’s The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.
Heather Tarran-Jones, programming and development director of Darlington Hippodrome said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Gareth, Jenny, Josh, Marina, Jamie and the full cast to Darlington to start work on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I am sure they will be a great hit with audiences of all ages.”
A spokesperson for the Hippodrome said: “Packed full of the magical ingredients Darlington audiences have come to expect including striking sets, stunning song and dance, plenty of audience participation, and shattering amounts of laughter, this is a magical adventure the whole family can enjoy.
“Don’t miss your chance to grab your tickets to the fairest panto in the land this Christmas. Book your tickets today, or you won’t be able to look yourself in the mirror!"
