Hundreds of Three mobile network customers across the North East have been left without signal due to an outage.
More than 1,000 customers have reported problems with Three’s service so far today via Down Detector - leaving customers angered at the lack of response from the company.
While more than half of complaints relate to a lack of signal from the mobile provider, customers have also reported issues with mobile internet, while others have had a total blackout on their mobile devices.
The issues started shortly after 7am this morning, and are ongoing, with more than 1,300 customers reporting issues currently.
In the North East, numerous complaints were made by customers, with one person, who didn't wish to be named, saying: "I've got no phone or internet signal now. Was just a phone signal earlier. Good job I'm home at the minute using my broadband! Let's hope no one has to make any urgent calls or is looking to receive them! I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne."
Meanwhile, others all across the UK have been complaining of the same issues - telling Three that its service was "below par".
A spokesman for Three said: “A small number of customers may be experiencing issues with our network this morning.
“Our engineers are working on the issue now to fix it as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
An issue was also reported on the Three network earlier this week.

On Tuesday, customers were having issues accessing the Three+ Rewards app.
Three Support UK posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, during the outage, saying: “We're aware of an issue affecting access to the Three+ Rewards app.
“Our team is working to resolve this as quickly as possible and we'll keep you updated. Thank you for your patience.”
