A two day countdown has been given to the potential winners of two £1m National Lottery prize tickets that were bought within the North East.
In the continuing search for the two missing EuroMillions winners who are sitting on tickets worth £1m each, The National Lottery is looking to raise awareness among players ahead of the important 30-day deadline in respect of lost, destroyed or stolen tickets.
The National Lottery is continuing its search for the two missing millionaires, who bought their tickets in Northumberland, as the first and crucial deadline fast approaches for anyone who is not in physical possession of their EuroMillions ticket from the draw.
The winning EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code, which can be found at the bottom of the winning ticket is: Northumberland - TDWJ 92983.
Under its licence, Camelot has the discretion to pay prizes in respect of lost, destroyed or stolen National Lottery tickets only if the player has submitted a claim in writing within 30 days of the relevant draw.
If the player can provide sufficient evidence, Camelot will investigate and consider the validity of the claim.
The lucky winner has until 5pm on Sunday, December 3, 2023, to contact Camelot in writing if they can’t find their tickets but think that they may be the missing winners.
The deadline to claim with the winning ticket is May 1, 2024.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery said, “Sunday 3 December at 5pm is a key milestone for this incredible EuroMillions unclaimed prize.

"Although there are 180 days for any National Lottery winner to come forward WITH their winning ticket, during the first 30 days after the draw it’s still possible to claim in writing to Camelot if the ticket has been lost, destroyed or even eaten by the dog!
“There’s no need to panic if you haven’t got your ticket to hand, but you need to act fast and get in touch with us before this Sunday.”
If no one comes forward with the winning tickets before the prize claim deadline (May 1, 2024), then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. Thanks to National Lottery players, £30M is generated each week for the National Lottery-funded projects.
