Emergency services were called today (Wednesday) after a man in his 60s was struck by a car.
The collision occurred near a car park off Oxford Road in Spennymoor at 11.15am.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called today to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian in Spennymoor.
"The collision occurred in Aldi car park off Oxford Road.
"A man in his 60s was treated at the scene by ambulance and the driver was uninjured."

A NEAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 11.11am this morning (Wednesday 29 November) to reports of a road traffic incident on Oxford Road in Spennymoor.
"We dispatched an ambulance crew who transported one patient to hospital for further treatment."
