A North East police station was put on lockdown after a selection of 'suspicious' items were found on the premises.
At about 4.05pm on Thursday (November 23), a number of items of concern were discovered in the public area at Middlesbrough Police Station, on Bridge Street West.
The building was cleared of people and a cordon was put in place during the incident, which also saw ambulance workers on the scene.

A specialist team from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) were called to attend to examine the items.
Cleveland Police have since confirmed that no further action was needed by the specialist team and the cordon was taken down shortly afterwards.
A man aged 33 has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm without a certificate, and a woman aged 54 has been arrested on suspicion of class A drugs.
Both remain in police custody at this time.
