Residents gathered on a North East High Street to pay their respects at a memorial service today.
Residents convened outside the Cenotaph near Stockton Parish Church as it held an act of remembrance at 10.35am.
A parade of military personnel walked through Stockton High Street towards the church as onlookers observed.
A band performed as personnel marched to the Cenotaph before stopping as a prayer was delivered to honour those who died in the line of duty.
The prayer paid tribute to those who had lost their lives in war, conflict, and violence.
Following the speech, a two-minute silence was held as hundreds surrounded the Cenotaph and honoured the fallen.
A band played following the ceremony as wreaths were laid by military servicemen, emergency services, volunteer services, the Mayor of Stockton, and Stockton North MP Alex Cunningham.
