Three new bus routes have been launched to provide Teesside retail park to provide greater access across the North East.
Stagecoach services 36, 37 and 38 will now stop at Teesside Park, providing residents from Hartlepool, Norton, and Billingham direct access to the site.
The service was launched on Monday (November 6) and will stop at three different locations at Teesside Park.
Tees Valley Mayor Houchen said: “Teesside Park is a retail magnet for our region and I’m delighted Stagecoach has committed to these three extensions into the much-loved complex.
"We’re making strides when it comes to working go with operators to improve routes and link more communities together.
“It’s also another way people can benefit from the Government’s Bus Fare Cap. It was great to have been one of the first people to take a ride around the Park this week – I really hope I’ll be the first of many.”
All single tickets for the services will cost a maximum of £2.
The services run multiple times an hour from Monday to Saturday, with a reduced service on Sunday, and three stops outside DFS, JD Sports and Currys.
Matt Vickers, MP for Stockton South added: “As a long-time supporter of Teesside Park, I know these affordable Stagecoach services are going to make a real difference for the hundreds of workers and shoppers that visit the Park every day.
"This is great news for the area and especially for the young people that Teesside Park supports into employment every year.”
Catherine Furlong, centre director at Teesside Park, said: “We’ve been working hard to secure better public transport links to Teesside Park and are absolutely thrilled to take the new Stagecoach services.
"These updated bus routes will help make Teesside Park more accessible and we know this will make a big difference to our visitors and staff.
“There is no better time to increase our connectivity with several new retail stores and food outlets set to open their doors in the coming months.
