A North East Tesco superstore has been forced to close its doors on Tuesday (November 7) after battling a power outage at the shop.
Staff at Tesco Extra on Durham Road in Stockton have temporarily closed the doors to the store after the fridges, freezers and other appliances were no longer working, due to the outage.
It's believed that the outage at the shop in Stockton isn't part of a wider issue with houses or other businesses in Teesside, with the supermarket giant saying that they are trying to fix the problem at the minute.
