One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a County Durham A-road on Monday (November 6) afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the A689 near Frosterley at around 4.30pm, following reports of a collision on the stretch of road.
Police and ambulance both attended the scene, with the road closed for around an hour to allow emergency services to work at the scene.

The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) has since confirmed that one person was taken to hospital via road ambulance.
A spokesperson for NEAS said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A689 in Frosterley shortly before 4.30pm this afternoon (6 November).
"We dispatched one of our community paramedics, who transported one patient to University Hospital North Durham
