A medical incident in a village near Darlington saw a large emergency service response this morning (Friday, November 3).
Two ambulances and a helicopter attended a private residence in Heighington Village, Newton Aycliffe.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said: "We were called to a private address in Heighington Village, Newton Aycliffe shortly before 8.30 this morning.
"We dispatched two double crewed ambulances, a clinical team leader and requested support from the Great North Air Ambulance."
