Appeal after Jayden Casey, 11, missing from Hartlepool

Police are searching for a missing 11-year-old who failed to return home yesterday.

Jayden Casey was last seen at about 3.20pm in the Fletcher Walk area of Hartlepool, and has not been spotted since.

Officers searching for him say they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing to the public for their help.

Jayden is described as a white male of slim build, with short brown hair and is 5ft2in tall.

He was wearing black joggers, a blue Nike zip-up jacket, black Under Armour jacket and black Jordan trainers when he was last seen.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Cleveland Police by calling 101.

A force spokesperson said: “Cleveland Police is urgently appealing for help to trace missing 11-year-old Jayden Casey from Hartlepool.

“Officers are concerned for Jayden’s welfare and would ask anyone who may have information on his whereabouts to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 217700.”
