A County Durham reality TV star has revealed she was assaulted in a ‘random attack’ over the weekend after going to a North East nightclub.
Nikita Jasmine, 29, who rose to reality TV fame after appearing on Married at First Sight was partying at Livello in Newcastle when the incident occurred in the bar’s toilets, leaving the TV personality with broken ribs.
Sharing the details of the horrific attack on her Instagram followers, she said: "Anyone who’s tried contacting me since the weekend I’m ILL. At A&E because I’ve got tonsillitis BAD again, shock horror.
"On antibiotics for a week and ribs are fractured from some f*****g idiot so getting that looked at now. Random attack."
She then went on to reassure her followers that she was fine after the incident, by saying: "Anyone who saw what happened in Livello toilets on Saturday night, message me. Will be kept private."
In her time on Married at First Sight, in 2021, Nikita's stint was cut short after she was axed from the show for a foul-mouthed outburst on one of the episodes.
She was paired up with business development manager Ant Poole, 28, from Manchester, as part of the E4 series, which sees strangers “get married” having never met each other before saying “I do”.
A statement from the show at the time said: “The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.
“During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour. As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment.

“All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.”
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Mexico before returning home, with the incident taking place during the filming of an episode featuring a dinner marking the next stage of the show, the couples moving in together.
