A Darlington doughnut shop will be stopping sales of their sweet treats due to increased costs.
Harry's Handcrafted Doughnuts, located on High Row, has announced it will be offering doughnuts for the next two weeks before halting sales.
They have said this is due to a rise in ingredient costs, staffing costs, and electric bills.
The store has said these costs have made continuing the business in its current guise is "not viable."
A spokesperson for Harry's said: "So, a little bit of bad news for Harry’s Handcrafted doughnuts.
"We will be selling doughnuts for the next two weeks and then we will be stopping.
"Unfortunately, with continued rising ingredient costs, staffing costs and electric it’s just not viable to continue.
"We will be pivoting into something else. In usual Harry’s fashion, we don’t 100 per cent know what that looks like yet.
"This business has been a labour of love and grew out of boredom in lockdown into a popular coffee shop in a thriving Darlo food economy.
"We are going to keep the Harry’s brand going we just need a week or so to thrash out what that looks like."

Harry's have recommended that anyone looking to get a doughnut before they leave the store to pop in by November 11.
They said their doughnuts will remain the same until this is done.
Residents reacted to the news with sadness and disappointment and wished the business the best of luck.
The Northern Echo has contacted Harry's for more information on the closure.
