Heavy bouts of rain and blustery rain is set to sweep the region in the next few days as schools break for half term this weekend – here’s the full forecast.
The Met Office forecaster is predicting a rather damp and windy weekend meaning half-term days out may be filled with showers and gusts.
Following the unprecedented weather from Storm Babet that brought torrential rain and strong winds across the region last week, downpours have never stopped as parts of the North East continue to suffer from floods.
According to the forecaster, the rain is set to persist heading into next week, with Wednesday and Thursday set to be the wettest days and bring a damp start to November.
Here’s your full weekend forecast.
